Welcome to Peanut Butter and Deli! We are a locally owned restaurant based in historical downtown Morrison, Illinois. After purchasing our storefront in 2021, we decided to bring a little bit of charisma back to our small town. We renovated the upstairs and made our way down to create an eclectic and vibrant restaurant for everyone to enjoy! We hope to serve you some of our homemade meals and a few of our house favorites!
Building
in the Making
Our building dates all the way back to 1857 during the construction of Morrison's Main Street. In 1859, it first opened as Nowlen & Son's doctors office. Within the last 166 years, it has been home to many businesses, including several bakeries, a pizza parlor, and a restaurant. Starting in 2021, we have restored and discovered much of this building's history from top to bottom while adding in a twist of our own style.

the Owners!
Hi there! We are the Harmons! As a family of 5 living in this community, we have made it one of our goals to give back to our hometown and restore some of its history. You may have even seen us around town helping out with some events or activities for Morrison or the school district. With one kid in college, one in middle school, and one college grad, we keep ourselves busy and work hard to make the best of this amazing, small town we call our home!
